Liquid Gesso
Testing out gesso as a base layer in my Bullet Journal

Spent a good 7 hours in the basement shop yesterday clearing way for the new studio. Today's agenda includes painting one wall, hanging a new pegboard and organizing/displaying supplies.

Once I get it all set up, my next project is to experiment with gesso. Apparently you can paint a thin layer of gesso on your buller journals and after it dries it serves as a protctive layer if you want to use paint or watercolours in your journal! This is so exciting! I can't wait to try.

It's better to use pens in a journal. I found gesso to be gritty. It's only really good if you do a small section on the page.
